Another Sense of Me
Story inspires me. Listening. Reading. And, telling.
I am voice. You hear my voice – oft described as relaxed, simple and
elegant – in voiceovers of TV and radio commercials, narrations of online movies
and podcasts, as a radio news anchor, and TV Book Reviewer.
And, you see me – on TV commercials, online videos, onstage emceeing
and moderating panels, talking to college students, and one-on-one, as in the
Communications Coaching I love to do.
While my predominant career is in radio and TV, I am a writer, a journalist,
a coach. My non-fiction work is published in seven anthologies, and in close
to twenty editions of national magazines Writer’s Digest and The Costco Connection.
I am able to read up to four full-length books on a treadmill in an
afternoon. A rarity among radio and TV interviewers – when I book an interview
with an author – I read every word of those hardcovers and paperbacks.
I believe my work is my play. And that joy is amplified by dance, friends
and family, and serendipitous adventures, including focused moments like this: I
spotted two cars driving nearby with license plates that said RN LNG and PLY HRD.
I do.
